Our goal at Women’s Health Associates is to promote holistic health and wellness in each of our client’s lives.  Dr. Cindy Besson and Lynn Tholborn RN, HN-BC share a passion for integrative medicine, and essential oils.  They know that accurate information is vital when making decisions and offer education to the clients that they serve. They believe that optimal health can only be achieved when the mind, body and spirit are supported. The Aromatherapy Room is located in our office building and is a relaxing space which allows private and personalized care. When you schedule an appointment, you will receive options, support and a realistic plan of action that has been individualized for you with your specific health goals in mind.

At these consultations we evaluate the whole person-mind, body, and spirit.  After listening to your concerns, we will together pick and choose oils you enjoy, while ensuring that they chemically work well together.   Your past medical history and current health status will also be reviewed as well as a detailed discussion concerning your goals and areas of concern.

Education about stress, nutritional supplements, CBD oil, along with other integrative therapies that might be beneficial for you are also offered.  You will not only leave with greater knowledge and a custom blend created just for you, but we will teach you how to use and store your oils in a safe manner.

Lynn is a Registered Nurse who is Board Certified in Holistic Nursing as well as a Certified Professional Aromatherapist.  She started using essential oils in 2013 when her educational journey in Integrative therapies began from personal exploration and with online training.  In 2017, she started working part-time with Dr. Besson.  Lynn’s love for holistic-minded health and aromatherapy grew as she witnessed the amazing results proper blending of oils made.  She decided then to pursue more formal training and in 2019 was awarded a Level 2 Professional Aromatherapy Certification.  Lynn furthered her education concerning Integrative therapies and in 2021 she became a Board-Certified Holistic Nurse.  She has been a Registered Nurse since 1987 and has actively worked in her field for over 30 years.  Lynn enjoys helping people and feels that nursing is her calling.   She is an active member of both the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy and American Holistic Nurses Association.

Lynn is not a physician and does not diagnose or cure illnesses.

The initial consultation is $50 and last approximately 50-60 minutes.  This rate includes one custom essential oil blend that has been created specifically for you. You will also receive customize dosing for our AGORA products if you desire to add CBD oil to your treatment.
